What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They remember things such as whether you are signed in or which language you chose. Session cookies disappear when you close the browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.

The website (wallethistory.com)

The website itself sets no cookies. It remembers that you closed the cookie notice in your browser's local storage (the item wh_cookie_notice_ok). Our hosting provider (Vercel) may set strictly necessary technical cookies for security and delivery.

The web application (my.wallethistory.com)

  • wh_session: keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary. Lasts up to 30 days and is deleted when you sign out.
  • wh_locale: remembers the language you chose. Set only when you choose a language. Lasts 1 year.
  • wh_theme: remembers the theme you chose (system, light or dark). Set only when you choose a theme. Lasts 1 year.
  • wh_dismissed_announcement: remembers that you closed an announcement banner. Lasts 30 days.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights on the website and in the web application to measure page views and loading performance. They set no cookies and store nothing on your device; see our Privacy Policy for details.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. More information: www.allaboutcookies.org. If you block the wh_session cookie, you will not be able to sign in.

Our website may link to other websites. They may use their own cookies, and WalletHistory is not responsible for their content or practices.
